Oil Disaster Series Complete

Seven canvases make up this series that deals with the unfortunate disaster in the Gulf. As I have stated before, my objective is to ultimately find the optimism amidst all of this, just as with the fires we have had in Santa Barbara over the last four years. There is hope. New Paintings for 2010
Lots of new work is happening this year in the studio. It has been a busy time, with a series that taps into current environmental issues, as did my 2009 series that dealt with the recovery from Santa Barbara fires.
I recently joined the Santa Barbara Arts Collaborative, a powerful local group that is working to make a huge difference in the lives of artists and those that work with them.
Stay tuned to my web address, as a new site will be appearing later this year.
